DOORS 9.3 Help-files

After installing DOORS 9.3 and completing some basic usage checking, I was shocked to discover that when you click on the usual `Help>>Contents and Index` DOORS kindly dumps about 35MB of cr4p into a Users Windows Profile. A new folder C:\WINNT\profiles\%USERPROFILE%\rcphelp appears.

When DOORS exists, this folder & files aren't deleted. In a Corporate Environment, User's Profiles have a defined Profile storage space, so when people log-off, they don't spend ages waiting for their PCs to logoff or logon.

Is there an 'ini' or registry setting I can change to stop this behaviour? I had the same issue with RPE and the fix was an ini file setting.

regards,
Dave

Yes, it is possible to change the Rational DOORS local Help Directory location. Please refer to the following technote for instructions on the same
